“Always be Joyful. Never Stop Praying!” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God." (St John Damascene)
In Click Clack Moo, Cows that Type the cows have a problem. They ask the farmer for what they need and keep asking until the problem is solved. As God’s beloved, created children we are expected to pray always. By asking for what we need and talking to God we build a relationship. Our lives will be more joyful if we have a good relationship with God and trust God to meet our needs. On this page, you will find: (1) Life Connections: an opportunity to reflect - as adults - on how the story of the cows relates to your life. (2) Catholic Connections for Adult Disciples: Click Clack Moo provides an opportunity to reflect on what our Church teaches about prayer--especially prayer as a "give and take" between God and ourselves. (3) Family Practices: ideas for fostering a vibrant prayer life within your family. Reflection and Discussion Questions are provided for each area so that parents and caregivers may support one another as they grow in their own faith and form children in faith. |
